Watertown;

The graveside service for Mr. Robert P. Streiff of 218 Gale St. who died Monday will be Friday at 2:30 pm at Calvary Cemetery in Watertown with Father Richard Kennedy, pastor of Sacred Heart church officiating. There will be no calling hours or funeral. Arrangements are with the T.R. Jetty Funeral Home in Clayton.

Robert was Born September 1, 1913 in Watertown the son of Ferdinand and Mamie Kelly Streiff. He was educated in Watertown schools. At a young age he worked at the White House Bed and Breakfast on Washington St. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army. After his discharge he worked for the United States Treasury Dept. In 1955 he moved to Syracuse where he worked and retired from Carrier Corp. He then moved back to Watertown where he ran an antique shop on Rte 11 until 7 years ago. He enjoyed playing the stock market.

Surviving are nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. One brother Howard died in 1976 and one sister Dorothy Streiff died in 2003.
