Donald E. Radley

Depauville;

The funeral for Mr. Donald E. Radley will be 11:00 am Saturday at the T.R. Jetty Funeral Home in Clayton with Pastor Donald Briant officiating. Mr. Radley died Monday in Syracuse. Calling hours will be Friday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Depauville Cemetery at a later date.

 

Don was born August 23rd 1925 in Chaumont NY, the son of Ernest and Doris Wagner Radley. He graduated from Clayton Central School. He married the former Etta Lee Barker Sept. 7th, 1947 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Watertown, with Dr. McClellan officiating. While farming all his life Don worked for a period at the New York Air Brake in Watertown and retired in 1990 from Frink America in Clayton. He enjoyed genealogy, was a member of the 4H and the FAA.

 

Surviving besides his wife of 62 years are one son Michael and his companion Peggy Trowbridge of Depauville, two daughters and their husbands Linda [Philip] Zang of New Mexico, Carol [Arthur] Dufresne of Browns Corners, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one brother and his wife Richard [Carrie Mae] of New Jersey, nieces and nephews.

 

Donations can be made in his name to the Depauville Volunteer Fire Department.
