Mrs. Edith E. MacFarlane age 94 formally of Stephanie St. passed away Monday evening at the Samaritan Keep Home in Watertown where she had been a resident for 2 years.

There will be a Graveside Service Saturday Nov. 6^th at 3:00pm in Dexter Cemetery. As per her request, there will be no calling hours or funeral.

Edith was born November 21^st 1915 in Dexter the daughter of Earl and Ola Hollinback Klock. She attended Limerick and Dexter Schools. She worked for a number of years in a grocery store in Depauville retiring in 1966. In 1973 she became Post Mistress at the Depauville Post Office until retiring in 1983. She married Rolla MacFarlane June 10^th 1949 in Depauville. Mr. MacFarlane April 27^th 1978.

Surviving is her son Richard Emerson of Rome NY, ten grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. She is predeceased by one daughter Mrs. Kilroy [Carol] Youngs of Clayton, three brothers Percy, Preston and Wesley and two sisters Harriett and Lois.
