There will be a public graveside committal service for Mr. Arthur R. Grandee on Tuesday morning at 11:00 am in Clayton Cemetery, with D.L. Marshall officiating. Calling hours will be from 5:00 until 8:00 pm Monday at the T.R. Jetty Funeral Home in Clayton.

 Mr. Grandee age 64, died 11/20/09 in Watertown.

Art was born April 14^th 1945 in Alexandria Bay, the son of Clarence and Rebecca “Ruby” Dorman Grandee. He attended Clayton schools and married the former Elizabeth “Betty” Yando on June 15^th 1985 in Clayton Center, with Judge Merrill Zaph officiating. Betty died October 15^th 2008.

Art retired from the Village of Clayton DPW on June 17^th 2009 after 46 years. Art ran the Village street sweeper in Clayton, Alexandria Bay and Depauville for many years. He was a life member of the Clayton Fire Department, and enjoyed Nascar racing.

He is survived by his sister Robertha “Bobbi” Crowther of Valley Falls NY, one nephew Daniel Crowther of Valley Falls. He was predeceased by a half brother Ivan Sheffield in 1986.
