Mrs. Emma F. Fitchette age 99 formally of Penet Square died Saturday at Country Manor Nursing and Rehab in Carthage.

The funeral will be Thursday at 11:00 am at the Jehovah’s Witness Hall Rte 342 Black River NY. Burial will be at 2:00 pm in Omar Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm Wednesday at the T.R. Jetty Funeral Home in Clayton.

Emma was born February 14^th 1911 at St. Lawrence Corners the daughter Frederick and Malinda Slate Ingerson. She attended St. Lawrence Corners Schools. On December 24^th, 1930 Emma married Eugene [Jack] Fitchette in LaFargeville. Jack died May 27^th 1978. She was a housewife and helped her husband with farming. She enjoyed baking.

She is survived by one daughter Florence White of Adams, six sons Norman of Dexter, John [Joan] of LaFargeville, Eugene [Mary] of Clayton, Alan [Kathy] of St. Lawrence Corners, Ted [Linda] of Lynnwood NY and Paul [Sheila] of Oriskany Falls NY, twenty four grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, one sister Elaine Maloit of CA, nieces and nephews. One son died in infancy, one daughter Helen Donato of Watertown and eight brothers and sisters predeceased her.
