Zachary B. Carter

Zachary B. Carter age 17 of Cty. Rte #9 died Wednesday at his home where he was under the care of his family and the Hospice of Jefferson County. The funeral will be noon on Saturday at the T.R. Jetty Funeral Home in Clayton. Calling hours will be from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral at 12:00pm on Saturday. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Union Cemetery in the Town of Cape Vincent.

 

Zach was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy at the age of four.

 

He was born July 5th 1992 in Gloversville NY. He moved to Clayton two years ago and was a student at Thousand Islands High School. He enjoyed reading and video games He had a heart of gold! While in Gloversville he participated in Harley Davidson Runs to benefit MDA.

 

He is survived by his mother Nikki, and his dad Matt Wrobel. Also two brothers Alexandar Van Patten of Florida, Matthew Wrobel Jr. of Clayton. two sisters Cheyenne Weaver of Fort Johnson NY, Aleesha Weaver of Clayton, his paternal grandparents Beverly Montgomery of Gloversville, and James Carter Sr. of Sharon Springs NY, his fraternal grandparents Martha Worbel of Clayton, Winston Worbel of Richfield Springs NY. Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
