Clayton:

Mrs. Doris K. Burtch age 87 of Strawberry Lane died Tuesday at River Hospital. There will be a graveside Committal Service at a time to be announced at Riverside Cemetery on Wellesley Island. There will be no calling hours or funeral. Arrangements are with the T.R. Jetty Funeral Home Inc. in Clayton.

Doris was born March 3^rd, 1923 in Alexandria Bay, the daughter of Gordan and Freida Kellogg Kenyon. She graduated from Alexandria Bay High School in 1940. She married Thomas “Pat” Burtch June 6^th 1942 at St Cyril’s Church in Alexandria Bay with Reverend Armond Dussault officiating. Mr. Burtch died Sept 2004 at age 82.

Mr. And Mrs. Burtch lived in Alexandria Bay, Calcium, Watertown, Sackets Harbor and Clayton. Doris worked for a time as a secretary at the Hook Line and Sinker at Collins Landing. She enjoyed knitting and watching TV.

Surviving is one daughter Pamela Burtch of Clayton, nieces and nephews. One son Phillip died in 1989, two other son’s died in infancy. One brother Lewis Kenyon and one sister Jean Wells died before her.
