Clayton;

The funeral for Ronald M. Bloom will be at 2:00pm Wednesday at the T.R. Jetty Funeral Home in Clayton. Calling hours will be from 12:00 pm until the time of the funeral. A reception will be held afterwards at O'Brien's in Clayton.

Ron was born November 9^th 1945, in Kingston Ontario, the son of Robert and Doris Morrison Bloom. He was age 65. He attended Kingston schools. He worked for the Province of Ontario until moving to the United States in 1974. He worked for a number of years as a caretaker for numerous summer residences, for Cives Steel Company, Frink America, R.J. Marine Associates and American Metal Craft Marine as a barge deckhand and a fitter. A marriage to the former Susan Healy ended in divorce.

Surviving are six children and their spouses, Barry and Lisa Bloom of Ottawa Ont. Ron and Kate Bloom of Kingston Ont. Jeremy and Loretta Bloom of Johns Creek GA. Amy-Jo and Anthony Weyhrich of Fort Brag of NC. Ronda and Rich Buck of Penniville NY. and Kattie and Jim Stark of Fort Drum NY, his companion of many years Terry Rivers Burns, nine grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
