Cora E. Bishop

Natural Bridge;

Mrs. Cora E. Bishop age 65 of Factory Road died Monday morning at her residence, where she was under the care of her husband Dick and the Hospice of Lewis County. Per her wishes there will be no services.

Cora was born March 22nd 1945 in Lowville the daughter of Martin and Ruth Palka Campbell. She attended Holy Family School in Watertown and graduated from Immaculate Heart Academy. She extended her education by taking many government courses. She married Richard Bishop April 10th 1964 at the Holy Family Church in Watertown. For a Short time she was a Lab Tech Technician at Mercy Hospital in Watertown. She retired in 1996 after working for A.A.F.E.S. as a troubleshooter at various military bases in the US. She enjoyed reading, gardening and walking in the woods.

Surviving besides her husband Dick are one daughter Mrs. Dejonna [Darin] Weaver address unknown, two brothers and their wives Robert [Brenda] Campbell of GA, Malcolm [Sharon] Campbell, one sister Karen Paterson of Texas, two grandsons, nieces and nephews. One sister Mary Lou Campbell and on brother Thomas died before her.

Donations can be made in her name to the local chapter of the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are with the T.R. Jetty Funeral Home in Clayton.
