A graveside service for Annie Mae Cole Barnes will be at 11:00 am Tuesday at Riverside Cemetery on Wellesley Island. Annie died Thursday in North Syracuse. There will be no calling hours or funeral. Arrangements are with the T.R. Jetty Funeral Home in Clayton.

Annie was born April 3^rd 1948 in Alexandria Bay, the daughter of William and Daisy Jenkins Barnes Sr. She attended area schools. She worked as a waitress in East Syracuse at Nick’s Diner and at the Cracker Barrel in Cicero.

She is survived by one daughter, Angela Hughes of North Syracuse, three sons Brian Hughes of North Syracuse, Brett [Donna] Hughes of Cicero, Shawn [Anne] of New Mexico, her mother Daisy Barnes of Syracuse, one sister-in-law Carol Barnes of Clayton, four grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. One brother William Barnes Jr. of Clayton and one sister Diane Burrows of Florida died before her.
